Fire alarm panels

Fire control panels are divided into two categories: addressable and conventional.

Addressable fire panels are similar to conventional panels except that the control panel can determine exactly which detector or call point initiated the fire alarm. The detection circuit of fire protection systems that include an addressable panel is wired as a loop and a certain maximum number of detectors can be connected to each loop.
